Sarah Boswell

Sarah Boswell is an accomplished Senior Test Engineer 3 in the Datapoints division at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., focusing on high throughput transcriptomics and leading the sequencing service team since June 2021. Prior to this role, Sarah served as the Director of the Single Cell Core at Harvard Medical School from May 2011 to May 2021, where responsibilities included advising on experimental design and managing core operations. Additional experience at Harvard Medical School includes roles as Director of Sequencing Technologies and Senior Scientist in collaboration with the Springer Lab. Sarah began a post-doctoral fellowship in cell signaling at Massachusetts General Hospital after completing a post-doctoral position focused on protein folding at Ordway Research Institute. Education culminated in a PhD in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, preceded by a BS in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the same institution.
