Awele R. Ahanonu

Awele R. Ahanonu has extensive work experience in the finance industry. They started their career at Fannie Mae in 2001, where they held various roles including IT Business Analyst, Deal Structuring Manager, Senior Credit Trader, Credit Risk Manager, and Senior Credit Risk Manager. In 2015, Ahanonu joined Goldman Sachs as Vice President/Executive Director in Credit Risk. They worked at Goldman Sachs until 2020, when they joined Ginnie Mae in the Office of Issuer & Portfolio Management.

Awele R. Ahanonu has pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland. Additionally, Ahanonu has also pursued an MBA degree with a focus on International Business, Trade, and Commerce from Trinity Washington University.
