Katie also served as the Senior Vice President of Regional Initiatives at Tampa Bay Partnership, where they directed key initiatives and managed budgets.
In their early career, Katie held roles at Best Buddies International as the Vice President of State Development, supervising multiple state offices and serving on national fundraising teams. Katie also served as a State Director, expanding programs and managing funds.

Katie Nohe Franco's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Katie also participated in a Study Abroad program in Zimbabwe at the School for International Training in 1996. Furthermore, Katie completed a Master's degree in Public Administration at the University of South Florida from 2005 to 2007.
