Angela Gachui has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Angela is currently the Head of Transformation & Inclusion at Girl Effect since March 2021. Prior to that, Angela founded Triple Bottom Line Associates (K) in 2019 and worked as a Certified Professional Coach and Talent Management Strategist, focusing on assisting organizational leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals in unlocking their potential. Angela also worked as the Africa Talent Manager at Dalberg from July 2017 to December 2019, and as a Senior Consultant from August 2015 to June 2017. Angela's earlier roles include being a Summer Consultant at Dalberg Global Development Advisors in 2014, a Principal at Triple Bottom Line Associates (K) from September 2010 to August 2013, and the Chief Talent Officer at Seven Seas Technologies from June 2008 to September 2010. Before that, they worked as an HR Consultant at PwC Kenya from 2006 to 2008, an HR Administrator at Effem Inc from June 2005 to June 2006, and an HR Administrator at Mars Canada in 2005. Angela's earliest work experience includes a role as a Content Editor/HR Intern at Wananchi Online from 1999 to 2002. Throughout their career, Angela has focused on talent management, leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and has worked with various sectors and geographies.

Angela Gachui holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in PNP- International Policy from New York University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Angela also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Western University, completed from 2001 to 2005. Furthermore, Angela has an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coaching Federation, obtained in January 2023, and a Certified Professional Coach certification from the same institution.
