Debbie Roman has dedicated their career to helping others reach their full potential. Debbie began their journey working with at-risk youth, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. Debbie then transitioned to working with the Girl Scouts, where they have served in various leadership roles over the past several years. In their current role as Vice President of Membership and Community Engagement for Girl Scouts of Greater NY, Debbie is responsible for overseeing all aspects of membership and community engagement for the organization. This includes developing and implementing strategies to increase membership and engagement, as well as working with community partners to ensure that the Girl Scouts are meeting the needs of all girls in the Greater NY area. Debbie is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, and has worked tirelessly to ensure that all girls have the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts programs.

Debbie Roman has a certificate in organizational leadership from the American Express Leadership Academy 2020. Debbie also has a leadership certificate in organizational leadership from the Emerging Leaders Program - Year Up. Debbie has an MBA in marketing from the University of Phoenix. Debbie has a BA in communications from Universidad de Puerto Rico Arecibo. Debbie has a certificate in customer service from Disney University. Finally, they are certified as a nonprofit professional (CNP) from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
