Vivian Yu

Vivian Yu is a dedicated education professional with a rich background in STEM and arts instruction, currently serving as the Program Manager for the STEM Portfolio at the Girl Scouts of Greater New York since January 2024. Formerly, Vivian was a Middle School STEM Teacher at Workshop Middle School and a STEAM Teaching Artist at ARCKBoston. Experience also includes serving as a High School Physics Student Teacher at the John D. O'Bryant School, where Vivian developed engaging curricula and effectively managed classroom dynamics. As Program Director for the Chinatown Big Sibling mentorship program, Vivian oversaw operations and community partnership initiatives aimed at supporting low-income immigrant youth. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College, with a major in Studio Arts and a minor in Physics.
