Brenda Gomes

Brenda Gomes has over two decades of experience in various leadership roles within the human resources and education sectors. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas since August 2008, Brenda has effectively developed and implemented strategic growth plans that surpassed membership goals. Prior to this, Brenda was the Director of the Education & Training Unit at The Urban League of Rhode Island, where oversight of contract compliance and data analysis were key responsibilities. Brenda's earlier career includes a position as Community Banking Assistant Manager at Sovereign Bank, focusing on staff supervision and training. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from Roger Williams University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
