Donna Tharp

Donna Tharp is an experienced professional with a strong background in volunteer training and organizational learning, currently serving as the Director of Volunteer & Organizational Learning at Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas since April 2010. Tharp oversees new volunteer training initiatives, manages a team of over 70 volunteer trainers, and is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive training calendar. Previously, Donna was a Training Instructor at Hilton Worldwide, where responsibilities included facilitating new hire training in customer loyalty marketing. Earlier career roles included Cosmetics Manager for Macy's and Campaign Fundraiser for the Texas Attorney General Mattox campaign. Donna began their career as a News Reporter at KVCT TV 19 in Victoria, TX, showcasing skills in research and live broadcasting. Education was obtained from The Art Institutes.
