Brett Savage-Simon

Director Internal Communications at Girl Scouts of the USA

Brett Savage-Simon has extensive experience in communications and media relations. Brett worked as the Director of Internal Communications at Girl Scouts of the USA starting in 2022 and also served as the Crisis Communications Manager from 2021 to 2022. Prior to their role at Girl Scouts, Brett was the Director of Communications at BRICK Education Network from 2020 to 2021, where they were responsible for brand awareness and visibility. Brett founded Savage Communications in 2012, serving as the Founder and President until 2019. Before that, they held various roles at PR Newswire, including Director of Audience Relations, Senior Media Relations Manager, and Manager of Broadcast and Wire Media. Brett's career began as a Reporter and Anchor at WISC and WEEK-TV from 1992 to 1995.

Brett Savage-Simon completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Spelman College. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalism at New York University.
