Samantha Herd

Samantha Herd is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Internal Communications at Robinhood since July 2021, where leadership includes internal communications strategy, enterprise communications, crisis management, and talent branding. Prior to Robinhood, Samantha held several positions at Amazon from September 2015 to July 2021, including Internal Communications Senior Manager, where oversight extended to nearly one million employees in transportation and logistics. Additional roles at Amazon included Internal Communications Manager and Specialist, focusing on strategic communications and internal channels. Earlier in her career, Samantha worked as an Account Manager at Black Pixel, managing client relations for notable brands, and as a PR Account Supervisor at The Zimmerman Agency, leading public relations for global clients. Samantha holds an MBA in Business Administration and a BS in Marketing from Florida State University.
