Sunny Thao

Sunny Thao currently serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Girl Scouts River Valleys, where programming focuses on empowering girls in historically underrepresented communities through various educational topics. Previous roles include Lead Youth Counselor and Youth Counselor at YWCA Midtown, contributing to STEAM-oriented programs and virtual learning support. Sunny has experience in stage management and playwriting as an Artistic and Administrative Apprentice at Playwrights' Center, as well as work in costume design with Augsburg University. Sunny's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Augsburg University, highlighting research on cultural textiles to inform creative work.
