Girls Education Nation
Girls Education Nation (GEN) provides education, community, and development support to girls and women living in Siberia, Russia. Our network of US based professionals and volunteers sponsors and subsidizes academic scholarships, aid (housing, food, clothing, and utilities), and business and personal mentorship to Russian, Tuvan, Khakhas girls of all ages. Through this work, we empower a new generation of women who can continue to demand equal treatment and the protection of their human rights and dignity from their families, their society, and their government.
