Scarlet Watts

Scarlet Watts is an experienced fundraising professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Development at Girls for Gender Equity (GGE), where the organization focuses on promoting the leadership of Black girls and gender-expansive young people of color. Prior roles include VP of Philanthropic Engagement at The Doe Fund, Director of Development at the American Business Immigration Coalition and The New York Immigration Coalition, and Development Director at HELP USA and The Trevor Project. In these positions, Scarlet has successfully led teams, developed and implemented comprehensive fundraising strategies, and significantly increased revenue through various initiatives. Scarlet's extensive background also includes freelance consulting and event organization for multiple nonprofits, complemented by a degree in Biology from Hofstra University.
