Karen Donaldson

Karen Donaldson currently serves as the Elizabeth Georgeson Fellow at The University of Edinburgh since August 2024 and is an elected member of the UK Young Academy since January 2023. Previously, Karen held the position of Project Manager at The National Robotarium from October 2022 to August 2024, and was involved in various roles at the University of Edinburgh School of Engineering, including Academic Lead for the Robotics Superlab and Postdoctoral Researcher from May 2019 to September 2022. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of Strathclyde focused on Space Systems Design from May 2016 to November 2018. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Strathclyde and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from The University of Edinburgh.
