Emily Zada currently serves as the Development and Operations Manager at Girls on the Run of the Bay Area, focusing on empowering girls through a comprehensive program that promotes positive life skills. Prior to this role, Emily gained extensive experience at Freshworks, holding multiple positions including Senior Strategic Account Manager and Associate Board Member, where responsibilities included guiding organizations in their strategic initiatives and implementing SaaS solutions. In previous roles at Arlington Dentistry by Design, Emily excelled in operations management, marketing and sales, and administrative functions, showcasing a strong foundation in business and healthcare administration, supported by a Bachelor's degree from Capella University and additional education from Virginia Tech.

Girls on the Run of the Bay Area
Girls on the Run of the Bay Area inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. GOTR of the Bay Area has served over 30,000 girls since 2002 providing high quality, life defining experiences, where our girls feel safe, heard and valued. There are no other national girl-focused, physical activity-based, positive youth development programs in the country.
