Cate Ambrose

Cate Ambrose is the CEO and Board Member of Global Private Capital Association (formerly EMPEA). She is also a Board Member and President of The Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin America (LAVCA). In addition, she serves as a Steering Committee Member at United Nations Institutional Investor Partnership for Sustainable Development and as a Board Member at Girls Write Now. Furthermore, she is an Independent Board Member at MELI Kaszek Pioneer Corp and has previously held roles such as Chief of Advocacy at United Nations Development Programme and Executive Director of Programmes at The Economist. Cate holds a MPA in International Economic Policy, Economics, and Public Administration from Columbia | SIPA and a BA in Latin American Studies and Journalism from St. Lawrence University.
