Yuankang Lu

Yuankang LU is an experienced professional in biomedical and medical engineering, currently serving as an Application Analyst at GIRO since January 2020. Prior to this role, Yuankang LU was a PhD student at Polytechnique Montréal from January 2014 to November 2019, where significant contributions included the development of a dual-modal catheter-based intravascular optical imaging system and a high-resolution optical coherence tomography (OCT) system for neuroimaging. Yuankang LU has also completed internships at Biometrics France, the First Affiliated Hospital of College of Medicine at Zhejiang University, and the Advanced Medical Imaging Center in Compiègne. Yuankang LU holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Master’s degree from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Université de technologie sino-européenne de l'Université de Shanghai.
