Laura Able has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Laura began their career at RGE Group in 1981 as a Purchasing Manager before moving on to Anglo Polymers Limited as a Sales Manager. From 1990 to 1994, they worked at Linx Printing as an Internal Sales Manager, followed by a role as a Commercial Manager at Herbert & Sons Limited from 1994 to 1999. At Buralls of Wisbech, Laura initially joined as a Commercial Manager but was soon promoted to the board of directors as a Commercial Director. From 2002 to 2005, they served as a Commercial Manager at Tenza Technologies Limited, responsible for improving profitability through transformational change. Laura then joined Domino Printing in 2006 as a Global Customer Experience Manager, focusing on driving a customer-first approach and aligning operational excellence with the customer experience. Currently, Laura is working at Global Inkjet Systems Ltd (GIS) as a Chief Experience Officer, responsible for owning the Customer Experience Strategy and delivering operational improvements through technology. Laura has also held roles such as Customer Success Director and Head of Customer Experience at GIS.
Laura Able has a diploma in Customer Experience from The CX Academy, obtained in 2023. Laura also received certifications in Sales Operations from LinkedIn in 2019 and as a Change Practitioner from APMG-International. Laura has pursued further education in the field of Customer Experience Strategy from Cranfield School of Management and obtained a Diploma in Management Studies with a focus on Business Administration and Management from Huntingdon Regional College in 2000. In the future, they plan to attend Cambridge Judge Business School to study Strategic Thinking.
