Sam Adams

Sam Adams has a diverse work experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Sam started their career as a Customer Service Field Worker at the City of Poway in 2006 and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Public Services GIS/Technology Specialist at the City of San Marcos. Sam then moved on to Enco Consulting, Inc. in 2015, where they worked as a GIS Analyst until 2016.

In 2016, Sam joined the City of Austin as an IT Geospatial Analyst and later became an IT Application Analyst Senior in 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading the SysOps team and managing the GIS infrastructure of the City of Austin. Sam researched GIS solutions, facilitated integrations, and supported over 30 city departments. Sam held this position until 2020.

From 2020 to the present, Sam has been working at GIS Surveyors, Inc. As a GIS Solutions Architect, they played a crucial role in developing and implementing GIS strategies for the company. Currently, Sam holds the position of Geographic Information Systems Manager at GIS Surveyors, Inc., where they continue to contribute their expertise in GIS solutions and management.
