Ganesh Sittampalam

Ganesh Sittampalam is a Principal Software Engineer at GitHub, focusing on GitHub Copilot. Previously, Ganesh worked as a Director at Credit Suisse in the front-office quantitative modelling group. Prior to that, Ganesh was a Senior Compiler Engineer at ARM Ltd and held research and teaching positions at the University of Oxford and Somerville College. Ganesh also has internship experience at Microsoft, contributing to the development of a compiler framework. Ganesh holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
