Manning Fisher

Manning Fisher has over 15+ years of experience in software and product design. In 2022, they began working at GitKraken as Creative Director. In 2021, they joined Infra as Design Officer, where they championed designed principles from 0-1 and directed and managed a team of Executive leaders and engineers to define, design and build an end to end infrastructure experience. Manning also designed the Infra brand, website, full CLI command pattern library and UI Product experience for SaaS and Open Source tooling. In 2019, they started at Root Inc. as Principal Product Designer, where they founded both consumer and enterprise product initiatives from 0-1 and managed and contributed to cross functional initiatives to create efficiencies within the brand and product development. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Docker, Inc. as Global Design Systems Manager, where they directed teams and products cross-functionally and geo-located to research, design and execute against Docker's principle business objectives. From 2014 to 2016, they were Chief Product Designer at Applause, where they managed designers, product managers and engineers to research, design and develop against the Applause core business initiatives. From 2013 to 2014, they were Sr. Product Designer at Twitter, where they were tasked to champion product ideas from scratch into the market. From 2008 to 2013, they were Director of Product Design at Beacon Interactive Systems, where they partnered with Prime Contractors to identify ways to optimize and manage the tactical supply chain for battleship maintenance mechanics. In 2007, they worked at both Glasspanther as Chief Executive Officer and Aquent as Talent. At Glasspanther, they provided services in software and product design, while at Aquent they worked as Talent. In 2007, they also worked at redcats as Lead Web Designer, where they were responsible for maintaining the design and front end markup for E-commerce sites.

Manning Fisher has received executive training from Babson College, as well as attended Kemper Military Academy.
