Edward So

Edward So is the Head of Growth at GitStart. Edward helps people get the best out of the Pull Request as a Service to scale engineering velocity within weeks. In their role, they have 5x MRR in a year and leads CS across all customers. Edward has also developed flexible processes to support growth and scalability while maintaining high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Prior to GitStart, Edward was the founder of Roostoo, a simulated crypto exchange app that grew to 50,000+ users with $0 marketing budget. Edward also signed 200+ partnerships with top universities such as UPenn, USC, HEC Paris and Imperial College. Next, they plan to build a kick-ass GameFi trading community with the Roostoo DAO.

Edward is also the President and Cofounder of Blockchain at USC, which is USC's premier blockchain student organization. In this role, they have served as a board member for Blockchain Accelerated Foundation (an NGO that accelerates growth for university blockchain clubs in the US), incubated 5 student blockchain project PoCs, organized 1 blockchain hackathon (sponsored by Ethereum, IOTA, Hyperledger), and conducted crypto workshops and fireside events to build up the USC community.

Edward So has a University of Southern California World Bachelor in Business, a The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology World Bachelor in Business, and a Università Bocconi World Bachelor in Business. Edward also has a Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
