Deshni Govender

Deshni Govender is an experienced professional in the fragrance and skincare industries, currently serving as the Global Fragrance Director for Sub-Saharan Africa at Givaudan. Previous roles include Head of Skin Care Formulations for Sub-Saharan Africa at L'Oréal and Fragrance Manager for Nivea Face Care and Cleansing at Beiersdorf, as well as Regional Fragrance Manager for the Near East. Deshni's career began at Unilever as a Product Development Technologist, following a position as a Research and Development Assistant in Home Care at RB. Deshni holds a Master's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and completed a program in Digital Marketing Strategies at Kellogg Executive Education in 2020.
