Policy Advisor -sustainable Urban Development In Georgia at GIZ

Ketevan Papashvili is a seasoned professional in sustainable urban development and environmental management, currently serving as a Policy Advisor for Sustainable Urban Development in Georgia and as a Regional Advisor in Southeast Europe for Connective Cities at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since January 2023. Prior to this role, Ketevan held the position of Environmental Safeguards Specialist at the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia from October 2016 to December 2022, where key responsibilities included ensuring environmental safeguards for various significant urban and infrastructure projects. Ketevan's earlier experience includes legal and project coordination roles within environmental organizations and government agencies, supported by a Master's degree in Public Administration from the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer and a Master's in Environmental Policy and Management from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. Furthermore, Ketevan holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Tbilisi State University.
