Markus Wauschkuhn is an experienced professional in international development and trade facilitation, currently serving as the Cluster Coordinator for the Sustainable Economic Development Cooperation Programmes in Nigeria at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) since January 2006. With a diverse portfolio, Markus has held positions such as Head of Programme for Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria (SEDIN) and Advisor for the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation, where leadership was demonstrated in projects across Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria. Additionally, Markus played a significant role in the GIZ Support Programme to ECOWAS, focusing on strategic planning and monitoring of regional economic integration.
