Iason H. Johannessen (1987) has been CEO of the Danish organization since 1 May 2023.
Johannessen is a member of the board of Forsikring & Pension (the Danish industry association for insurance companies and pension funds).
He joined Gjensidige in 2013 as an analyst within product and price, and has held several management positions in the Danish organization since then. Most recently, he has held the position of director of finance and strategy in Denmark.
Johannessen has a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, and has also worked for several years as an external lecturer at the department for management, politics and philosophy.
