Sean Bannon

Sean Bannon, CFA, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at GKN Automotive since May 2023. Previously, Sean held the position of Vice President of Finance & IT for Flexibles EMEA at Amcor from November 2018 to April 2023, leading a team of approximately 400 employees and managing a $3.5 billion annual sales operation across 51 manufacturing facilities in 20 countries. Sean's extensive experience at Trinseo included roles as Director of Integration and Director of Finance for both the Performance Materials and Plastics Divisions, overseeing financial support for divisions generating substantial revenues. Prior to that, Sean spent nearly eight years at Air Products and Chemicals in various financial positions, including Senior Treasury Analyst and Finance Manager. Sean began a career in finance after serving as an Armor Officer in the US Army from May 1997 to August 2001. Educational credentials include a degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and an MBA from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
