Aly Kassim-Lakha

Aly Kassim-Lakha has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Aly began their career as an Accountant at Westar Timber in 1989 and then moved on to become a Controller at Interfor from 1992 to 1999. Aly then joined Transcontinental and held various roles including Regional Controller from 2001 to 2002, Group Controller from 2003 to 2006, and General Manager from 2006 to 2011. During their time at Transcontinental, they were responsible for managing plant operations, financial budgets, and strategic planning. Following their tenure at Transcontinental, Aly worked as a self-employed consultant providing management advice and guidance from 2011 to 2012. Aly then joined Glacier Media Group, where they held the role of General Manager/Controller from 2012 to 2017 and later took on the position of Director Of Manufacturing Glacier Media Group and General Manager Kodiak Press in May 2017. Overall, Aly has demonstrated expertise in finance, operations management, and strategic planning throughout their career.

From 1982 to 1987, Aly Kassim-Lakha attended the CGA Association of British Columbia, where they obtained a CGA degree.
