Rob Shearer

Rob Shearer is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the Airside Operations Duty Manager at Glasgow Airport since May 2023. Prior to this role, Rob held various positions including Senior Airfield Officer and Airfield Operations Officer at Heathrow from April 2018 to April 2023, as well as Operations Controller at CargoLogicAir and Ground Operations Officer at Monarch Airlines. At Monarch Airlines, Rob oversaw the efficient operation of multiple overseas stations. Additionally, Rob worked as an Operations and Dispatch Agent at Stobart Air, coordinating safe aircraft turnarounds, and served as a Passenger Service Agent at Jet2.com, managing check-in and boarding processes. Rob's foundational education was completed at Lenzie Academy, where advanced studies in music were pursued from 2004 to 2010.
