Scott Giberson Jr.

Scott Giberson Jr. possesses a diverse and dynamic background in both medicine and the humanities. Currently serving as the Poetry Editor for Iris, a medical humanities journal at the UNC School of Medicine, Scott manages a team focused on curating impactful poetry. As a Choosing Wisely STAR, representation includes collaboration with national leaders to promote value-based care practices. Recently appointed as Operations Lead and AI Clinical Fellow at Glass Health, Scott's career also includes experience as a Community Outreach Specialist and Psycho-Oncology Research Intern at Moncrief Cancer Institute, as well as a marketing-focused internship at Together Forward. Educational credentials include an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, an MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, a BS in Psychology from Texas Christian University, a Certificate in International Relations from Universidad Mayor, and a high school diploma from McNeil High School.
