Gordon Seymour

Special Counsel for Public Policy at Glass, Lewis & Co.

Mr. Seymour joined Glass Lewis in 2019 as Special Counsel for Public Policy. He is a securities and corporate governance lawyer with 25 years of experience in both private practice and government. He most recently served as General Counsel of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, a position he held from 2007-2018. Mr. Seymour joined the PCAOB when it was established in 2003 and helped launch the organization and develop its rules and operating programs. Prior to joining the PCAOB, Mr. Seymour held several positions at the Securities and Exchange Commission, and practiced at the law firm of Williams & Connolly LLP. Mr. Seymour also served as law clerk to the Honorable Ralph K. Winter, Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Seymour earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale College and received a J.D., with High Honors, from the University of Chicago, where he was Topics & Comments Editor of the Law Review.
