Maria Vu leads the research team that is responsible for the analyses of executive pay programs in the U.S. and Canadian markets. She also maintains oversight of Glass Lewis’ compensation-related quantitative models and its peer group methodology. Maria began her career in institutional equity sales at Merrill Lynch as part of the Technology Specialty Group. This was followed by nearly a decade in ownership intelligence and investor relations consulting to mid- and large-cap tech companies as part of Thomson Reuters’ advisory services. After a hiatus to explore broader interests, Maria joined Glass Lewis in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of California, Berkeley.
