Matthias Loppacher has over 20 years of experience in various technology and innovation management roles. Matthias has led teams in mechanical design, automation, software development, and process development at companies such as Glaston Corporation, Bystronic glass, INFORS HT, CAMAG, Straumann, and HAEFELY HIPOTRONICS. Matthias has a proven track record of driving innovation, establishing project portfolio management, and initiating cultural changes towards agile multidisciplinary teams.

Matthias Loppacher completed their Diploma in Physics at the University of Basel from 1986 to 1991. Matthias then pursued a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics at the same university from 1991 to 1996. Following this, they obtained a Post Doc degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Basel in 1996-1997. Matthias also has further education certifications, including a CAS in St. Galler Betriebswirtschaftslehrgang from St. Galler Business School in 2002, a CAS in Change Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW in 2006, a DAS in Executive Diploma HSG in "Managing Growth in Technology Firms" from University of St.Gallen in 2009-2010, and a CAS in Hypnosystemische Beratungs- und Organisationsentwicklungs-Konzepte from wilob / Milton Ericson Institute / Dr. Gunther Schmidt in 2018-2019. Additionally, they obtained the certification of a Certified Senior Project Manager IPMA Level B® from VZPM - Association for the certification for persons in management in 2015.
