Mahir Gunyel

Mahir Gunyel is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software development and architectural guidance. Currently serving as Technical Steering Team Co-chair at The Linux Foundation since March 2024, Mahir drives project adoption and ensures code quality through technical discussions and development contributions. As a Senior Technology Architect at Netsia, Inc. since June 2018, Mahir mentors teams and monitors industry trends for innovation opportunities. Previous roles include Technical Steering Team Co-chair at the Open Networking Foundation, where Mahir led requirement collection for the VOLTHA/SEBA Project, and various leadership positions at Argela Technologies, overseeing successful project deliveries and software development in telecommunications.
