Ashly McWilliams has a diverse range of work experience. Ashly started their career as a Dietary Aide at Margaret E. Moul Home from 2005-2008. Ashly then worked as a Program Instructor at Penn-Mar Human Services in 2012, where they supervised individuals with intellectual disabilities and provided personal care and medication administration.
From 2014-2017, Ashly worked as a Teacher Assistant at Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12, supporting teachers in multiple disabilities support and life skills support classrooms.
Starting in 2017, they joined Community Progress Council as a Head Start Floating Teacher, instructing children and providing educational and emotional support to diverse groups of students and families. Ashly also worked as an Early Head Start Teacher from 2018-2019.
Ashly then transitioned to Jessica and Friends in 2019, serving as a Curriculum Coordinator and DSP, before moving on to their current role at Glatfelter Insurance Group as a Group Products Administrator, starting in 2020.
Ashly McWilliams completed their education in a chronological order. Ashly began their educational journey at West York Area High School, where they obtained their diploma in the field of study "All" from 2005 to 2008.
After high school, they pursued an Associate's degree in Social Sciences at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College from 2008 to 2013. Following this, Ashly went on to Penn State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General, completing their studies from 2013 to 2017.
In addition to their formal education, Ashly has also acquired various certifications. Ashly obtained certifications in Accident and Health from PSI Services LLC in January 2023, Teaching Strategies Birth-Kindergarten from Teaching Strategies, LLC in January 2018, and Establishing Basic Skill Sets for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in July 2016. Ashly also obtained the certification for Intensive Skill Training in Applied Behavior Analysis for Teams Supporting Students with Autism from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in July 2014. Moreover, Ashly holds certifications in Health Care I & II from the Center for Advanced Life Skills in 2008 and Life and Fixed Annuities from PSI Services LLC in July 2022.
