Adriana Parrado Alba

Adriana Parrado Alba has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the healthcare industry. Adriana currently serves as a Regional Business Manager at Glaukos Corporation since December 2021. At Alcon, they held various roles from 2011 to 2019, including a Surgical Sales Representative responsible for product promotion, surgical support, and key account management. Adriana was also a Vision Care Sales Representative, promoting and positioning the company's portfolio of contact lenses, solutions, and pharmaceutical products. Prior to Alcon, they worked as an Optometrist-Orthoptist at Visual Point S.A from 2008 to 2011 and at IMEVI SAS from 2005 to 2008. Adriana started their career as an Orthoptist at Cafam Colombia in 2000. Throughout their career, Adriana has gained expertise in sales, marketing strategies, medical promotion, surgical support, account management, and training, making their a valuable asset in the healthcare industry.

Adriana Parrado Alba completed their education in two different institutions. In 1995, they attended the Universidad de La Salle where they pursued a degree in Optometry and studied until 2000. Later in their career, from 2014 to 2016, they attended CESA and obtained a degree as a Specialist in Strategic Marketing, focusing on Strategic Marketing. Additionally, they pursued several certification programs. In 2013, they completed a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Marketing at Universidad El Bosque and in 2011, they obtained a Diploma in Medical Visits from Contraining. Most recently, in September 2020, they obtained a certification in Market Access through a Diploma program at Universidad El Bosque.
