Iona Raymond Ph.D., Pmp, Dabt

Iona Raymond, PhD, PMP, DABT has over 24 years of work experience in various roles related to pharmacology, toxicology, non-clinical and translational sciences, and neurobiology.

Iona is currently working as the Director of Pharmacology & Toxicology at Glaukos Corporation since November 2020.

Previously, they served as an Associate Director at AbbVie from May 2020 to November 2020. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Allergan from April 2010 to May 2020, including Associate Director of Non-Clinical and Translational Sciences, Sr. Manager of Pathology Laboratories, Sr. Scientist, and Scientist.

Before joining Allergan, Iona worked at UCLA for 10 years in various research roles, including Assistant Researcher in Neurobiology, Post Graduate Researcher, and Graduate Student Researcher.

Iona Raymond, PhD, PMP, DABT has a solid education history. Iona began their academic journey at UCLA, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from 1990 to 1996. Building upon this foundation, Iona continued their studies at UCLA and earned a Ph.D. in Neurobiology, which they completed between 1996 and 2002.

In terms of additional qualifications, Iona obtained a Diplomate certification from the American College of Toxicology in the field of American Board of Toxicology (ABT) in 2017. Iona also recently acquired the DABT certification from the American Board of Toxicology, Inc., although the precise month of completion is unknown. With their extensive expertise and educational background, Iona's academic journey has equipped their well for their professional endeavors.
