Johnny Andrade

Johnny Andrade has a strong background in the sales and marketing of ophthalmology products. Johnny started their career in 2007 at Alcon as a Surgical & Inst Sales Representative, where they promoted surgical products and developed relationships with surgeons. Johnny then moved up to the role of Surgical Refractive Specialist, providing clinical and technical support for Advanced Technology IOLs. In 2013, they joined ANDREC CORPORATION as Business Unit Manager- Cluster Latin America, overseeing sales and marketing activities in multiple countries. Johnny was responsible for new product launches and market planning. Most recently, Johnny has been working at Glaukos Corporation as the Andean Region Manager. In this role, they support authorized distributors in achieving sales objectives, provides training on Glaukos technology, and assists surgeons during surgeries.

Johnny Andrade obtained a degree in Administration and Business Management from Universidad EAN, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. In 1998 to 1999, they attended Mid Florida Tech to pursue a degree in English as a Second Language. Johnny later enrolled at Universidad del Norte in 2009 and completed a specialization in Commercial Business Management in 2010.
