Long Doan

Long Doan has a strong background in clinical research and management. Long started their career as a Laboratory Assistant at UCLA, where they assisted in the development of non-drug dependent therapy for psychiatric disorders. Long then worked as a Research Laboratory Assistant at MacDonald Research Laboratory, conducting studies on Orphanin FQ and performing surgeries on rats.

In 2001, Long became a Clinical Research Associate at Paragon Biomedical, leading studies on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and oncology. Long provided centralized project services and managed 125 sites for a Phase 3 study.

Long joined Allergan in 2002 as a Clinical Research Associate, working on various studies in ophthalmology, neurology, and orphan diseases. Long eventually became a Senior Global Clinical Research Manager, managing global trials across multiple countries and supervising and mentoring incoming managers and interns.

In 2013, Long joined Avanir Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Clinical Research. Long Doan attended Arlington High School and Dana Hills High School, but it is not specified when they attended these schools or if they obtained any degrees or studied any particular fields there. Long Doan also attended Walden University and earned a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) with a focus on Public Health. Long later pursued a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Walden University. Lastly, Long Doan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psycho-Biology from UCLA, but no specific dates are mentioned for their studies at UCLA.
