Anastasia Orme is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Anne Osbourn's group at the John Innes Centre. They previously held positions at Illumina as a Scientist I and Sr Scientist, and completed their Ph.D. in Plant Sciences at the John Innes Centre, where they investigated oat sugar enzymes for synthetic biology applications. Their experience also includes a postdoctoral role focused on elucidating the biosynthetic pathway of the vaccine adjuvant QS-21 and an internship at Unilever aimed at reducing the environmental impact of laundry liquids. Additionally, Anastasia has collaborated with GSK as a Principal Scientist.
