Cuthbert Martyr

Cuthbert Martyr is an experienced investigator in medicinal chemistry, currently working at GSK US since April 2017, where responsibilities include designing novel small molecules, developing multi-step syntheses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance drug properties. Prior to this role, Cuthbert served as a postdoctoral fellow at Janssen Inc. from June 2015 to March 2017, focusing on novel peptide design for metabolic disorders. Earlier experience includes positions as a research scientist at CanAm Bioresearch Inc. and as a postdoctoral fellow and graduate research assistant at Purdue University. Cuthbert holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of the Virgin Islands.
