David Lim

David Lim is a PhD-trained statistician and machine learning researcher currently serving as a Principal Statistician at GSK, where they contribute to pre-clinical research statistics on projects involving synthetic lethality, novel human genetics, and bioimaging. Previously, David worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Syngenta, focusing on crop yield prediction using machine learning methods, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they analyzed microbiome data and COPD X-ray image data. Additionally, David served as a tutor at C2 Education, teaching various subjects including math and science. They hold a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
