Dominic McDonald

Dominic McDonald currently serves as Executive Director of Search & Evaluation in Oncology at GSK, following a tenure as Senior Director in the same area. McDonald has a robust background in oncology and hematology, having previously held senior positions at AstraZeneca, where notable transactions included the acquisitions of TeneoTwo and Neogene Therapeutics. At AstraZeneca, McDonald co-led the global launch of CALQUENCE and contributed to various strategic insights on drug development. Prior experience includes roles at Genentech focusing on product strategy for multiple hematological therapies, as well as a key position in business operations at SQZ Biotech. McDonald began a career in equity research at Summer Street Research Partners. Educational qualifications include an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Chemical-Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
