Lori Shen

Lori Shen, Ph.D., currently serves as Vice President at GSK, leading the strategy and execution for Direct Procurement and the procurement aspects of External Manufacturing since January 2023. Prior to GSK, Lori held various senior leadership roles at Pfizer from May 2010 to December 2022, including Sr Director of Biotech Operations and Category Management, where a global team was led in sourcing and procurement efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier experience includes roles at Wyeth BioPharma, where significant contributions were made in strategic sourcing and external supply, and at Bristol-Myers Squibb in pharmaceutical development. Lori's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from Lehigh University, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
