Manu Varghese

Manu Varghese is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, internal auditing, and risk management across multiple global organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Global Financial Risks and Controls at GSK, Manu leads a diverse team focused on finance transformation and change management. Prior roles include Head of Internal Audit at IVC Evidensia, where the first risk-based internal audit plan was developed, and Senior Manager at EY, specializing in corporate reform and operational risk management. As Chief Financial Officer at Hira Industries LLC, responsibilities included oversight of treasury, accounting, and financial analysis across multiple countries. Manu’s career began at Ford Motor Company, where a range of roles was held, ultimately advancing to Internal Audit Manager, ensuring quality audits at manufacturing plants globally. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the Institute of Management Accountants and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Kerala.
