Sam Warden

Sam Warden is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in clinical programming and data science, currently serving as the Global Head of Clinical Programming & Business Excellence at GSK since February 2021. Warden's responsibilities include leading the transformation of the Programming Function and enhancing capabilities for agile decision-making. Prior to GSK, Warden held multiple leadership roles at d-wise Inc., where significant contributions were made to the implementation of global strategy across Europe and support for biopharmaceutical clients. Additional experience includes senior positions at Covance, Merck Serono, and Serono, among others, focusing on improving clinical data processes and driving innovation. Warden holds an MBA from The Open University and a BSc in Biology from The University of Manchester, complemented by a Data Science Bootcamp from EPFL.
