Tom Desmet

Tom Desmet is an accomplished supply chain professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Supply Chain Transformation Director at GSK since January 2020, Tom previously held the position of Operational Excellence Director at Arvesta, where optimization of manufacturing operations across a network of 14 sites for animal nutrition was the focus. Prior to this, Tom spent over 16 years at Anheuser-Busch InBev in multiple roles, culminating as Operations Director for Shared Services in Western Europe, while also leading logistics and order management activities across various centers. Tom holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering - Architecture from KU Leuven and has pursued postgraduate studies in Real Estate Management at KU Leuven, along with business education from Vlerick Business School.
