Jeremy Johnson, PhD has a wealth of experience in data science and management consulting. Jeremy has worked for a variety of organizations since 2005. In 2005, they worked as a Research Associate for the Charles F Kettering Foundation. From 2007 to 2014, they held the role of Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan. In 2012, they founded and developed the American Language Center, a multilingual language school in Tbilisi, where they managed and grew the school for two and a half years. Additionally, they were an Invited Lecturer at Tbilisi State Medical University in 2012. In 2014, they returned to the University of Michigan as a Graduate Student Instructor. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Title VI Data Manager - International Institute at the University of Michigan, where they compiled, cleaned and analysed data for the University of Michigan's Title VI grants and reported findings to academic and non-academic audiences. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Data Scientist and Management Consultant at JPI, managing and facilitating the transition of USCG HR data analytics from the Microsoft suite to an internally developed system utilizing Python and SQL for analytics and predictive modeling with machine learning. Jeremy also acted as a data science / Python programming Subject Matter Expert (SME) and educator for the design, build and implementation of models across a team of 12 analysts and data scientists. Finally, from 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Data Science Lead at Tuple Health.

Jeremy Johnson, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology and Jeremy'story from the University of Michigan in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts - MA in Russian, Central European, East European and Eurasian Studies from the University of Michigan in 2008. In 2006, they obtained a BA in High Honors in Jeremy'story, Russian Language from The University of Georgia. Jeremy also attended The Data Incubator in 2018, where they obtained a Fellow in Data Science and a Program Graduate certification. Additionally, they have a Data Scientist with Python certification from DataCamp.
