Dan Wheeler has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Dan is currently the Head of Finance at Glean, where they focus on improving learning and productivity through their class study tool. Prior to this, Dan worked at The Skills Network as Finance Director, overseeing financial and KPI reporting, planning, forecasting, payroll, tax, and internal controls. Dan also held the position of Financial Controller at The Skills Network. Before joining The Skills Network, Dan served as the Group Financial Controller at Interactive Investor, where they managed financial and management reporting for the company. Dan has previous experience at Ernst & Young as an Audit Executive for financial services clients and at Garbutt & Elliott LLP as an Audit Senior.
Dan Wheeler completed their education at Loughborough University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sport & Exercise Science from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Backwell School near Bristol from 1995 to 2002. Additionally, Dan obtained certifications as an Associate Chartered Accountant from ICAEW in 2010 and later as a Fellow Chartered Accountant from the same institution in 2020.
