Paul Worndl, P.Eng has a diverse and extensive work experience that spans over several years. Paul started their career in 2015 with Hematite Manufacturing, where they worked as an Engineering E.I.T. During their time there, they gained valuable knowledge and experience in various plastics manufacturing techniques and became familiar with automotive industry standards and processes.

In 2015, Paul joined Bend All Automotive ULC as a Product Development Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for assessing customer design and product validation requirements, developing test procedures, and managing projects. Paul also played a key role in design development and technical feasibility assessment for new products. Later, they were promoted to the position of Research and Development Manager, where they led a team of engineers in the ideation, design, prototyping, and testing of new products. Paul also focused on exploring new manufacturing methods, materials, and validation techniques to improve the company's products and reduce costs.

In 2019, Paul moved to Glen Dimplex Americas as a Product Development Engineer, where they were responsible for all aspects of product development, from design to manufacturing. Paul extensively used SolidWorks in product design. Later, they were promoted to Engineering Manager, overseeing the engineering department and contributing to the strategic direction of the company's engineering projects. Currently, Paul holds the position of Director of Engineering - Global Flame, where they continue to lead the engineering team in driving product innovation and development.

Paul Worndl, P.Eng has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guelph, which they obtained between 2010 and 2015. Paul then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Advanced Design and Manufacturing Institute at Western University from 2017 to 2019. In 2023, they completed the Global Leadership Programme in Executive Business at Trinity College Dublin. Additionally, Paul Worndl has obtained certifications in Sustainability Leadership: Innovation for Growth from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2023 and is also a Professional Engineer, certified by Professional Engineers Ontario in 2019.
